The frames are part of a collaboration between The Hopper Foundation and eyewear brand Jacques Marie Mage. The limited edition eyewear collection is inspired by Dennis Hopper – an American actor, filmmaker, photographer and artist. Dennis Hopper attended the Actors Studio, made his first television appearance in 1954 and made his directorial film debut in Easy Rider (1969), which he and co-star Peter Fonda wrote with Terry Southern.
Titled TAOS, after the place where the late great actor and artist lived and is buried, the collection is deeply inspired by the creative spirit of Dennis Hopper and the idealism and decadence of the 60s.
