Erdem Moralioğlu is a half-Turkish, half-English, Canadian born fashion designer, who graduated from the London Royal College of Art in 2003.
Prior to setting up his eponymous label in 2005, he worked as an intern with Vivienne Westwood in London and then alongside Diane Von Furstenberg in New York. In 2010 he won the inaugural British Fashion Council/Vogue Fashion Fund award.
According to the designer, his signatures are 'colour, optimism and oddities', while the ideal client 'a clever person who probably cares little about seasons. She has a lot of conviction and marches to her own drum.”
The Erdem and Linda Farrow collaboration is one of the most exciting ones yet, the sunglasses being inspired by insects silhouettes, with accentuated stainless steel frames and mirrored lens.
Cutting edge was often used to describe Erdem's collections and you'll soon understand why.
