ANTHONY STEEL, the actor, was the boyish, square-jawed star of such films of the 1950s as "The Wooden Horse", "Albert RN" and "The Sea Shall Not Have Them".
ANITA EKBERG, the Swedish actress and former Miss Universe is best known for her role as Sylvia in the Federico Fellini film "La Dolce Vita". In December 1955 Anthony met Anita at a film premiere. He was instantly taken with her personality and her figure, declaring that

The next year, after various unpleasant circumstances and a trip to Malmo to meet her parents, the couple were married at the Palazzo Vecchio, Florence.

Steel gave his bride an emerald flanked by 12 diamonds, said to have cost $24,000. But it soon became clear that all was not well between the pair. There were rumours of arguments, alcohol and mutual jealousy. In 1959 they divorced, and Steel returned to England.

 Yoko Ono & John Lennon


JOHN LENNON, the famed singer-songwriter founded THE BEATLES, a band that impacted the popular music scene like no other before, or since.

YOKO ONO, Japanese artist and musician who was an influential practitioner of conceptual and performance art in the 1960s.

The pair first met in November 1966 at a London gallery, where Ono was preparing for an exhibition of her work. It was love at first sight that concluded in a whirlwind romance.

Less than three years later, on March 20, 1969, the couple married. In 1970, just one year after Lennon and Ono’s wedding, the Beatles broke up. Afterward, Ono and Lennon went on to collaborate on a series of music projects.

Their last album together released before his death was Double Fantasy, which came out in 1980, just three weeks before Lennon’s assassination.

David Lynch & Isabella Rossellini


DAVID LYNCH, filmmaker responsible for some of the most twisted films ever made, painter, musician, actor, and photographer. He is best known for “Twin Peaks” - an American mystery horror drama television series created in collaboration with Mark Frost.

ISABELLA ROSSELLINI, Italian actress, filmmaker, author, philanthropist, and model. The daughter of the Swedish actress Ingrid Bergman and of Italian neorealist film director Roberto Rossellini.

The two were introduced at a restaurant during a break in the casting process of Lynch’s soon-to-be-cult hit, “Blue Velvet”.
When he first spotted Isabella, Lynch told her: “Hey, you know, you could be the daughter of Ingrid Bergman.” A friend nearby informed him, “You idiot, she IS Ingrid Bergman's daughter."
Their relationship started during the filming of “Blue Velvet,” and ended shortly after “Wild at Heart” premiered at Cannes, Rossellini was cast in both films.

Reportedly, the couple walked down the red carpet, cooing like lovebirds. However, when the film was over and Lynch and Rossellini went back to their hotel, he admitted he didn’t think the relationship was working. A short time later they split for good.

They were introduced to each other by Cameron Mitchell, who had co-starred in the stage and film versions of Miller's Death of a Salesman. A few days later, Marilyn ran into Miller at a Hollywood party, where the two struck up a friendship.
On June 25, 1956, Arthur Miller married Marilyn Monroe. The couple faced a series of hardships, including Miller's investigation for communist sympathies, and Monroe's depression, miscarriages and drug use. They divorced in 1961.

Kate Moss & Johnny Depp


JOHNNY DEPP, actor, producer, and musician. He has been nominated for 3 Academy Awards and won the Golden Globe Award and Screen Actors Guild Award for Best Actor.
KATE MOSS, English model and businesswoman. She was discovered in 1988 at age 14 by Sarah Doukas, founder of Storm Model Management, at JFK Airport in New York City.

Depp and Moss met in 1994 at New York’s hip Caf Tabac. He was 31, Moss was 20.
