Spent tumbling the acetate frame fronts and temples in large barrels containing wood chips of various shapes and sizes. Eventually giving the rough acetate a soft and shiny finish.

10 STEPS

In the hand-polishing process that brings a natural sheen to JMM acetate cellulose frames.

18 MONTHS

To painstakingly create a pair of JMM glasses.

20 TESTS

Administered to ensure all fit specifications and detail finishes, virtually eliminating any chance of production flaws.

100 PAIRS

Of hands contribute to the small-batch production of each JMM spectacle.
